This is my husband: Former television news reporter turned law student. He is the guy behind "Torts" (funky legal jargon). He's my number-one Chicago boy, who's currently reveling in the fact that he's in his last year of law school. Hard-working, handsome and humble -- he IS the reason I get to take in that magnificent New York City skyline everyday. When his head isn't stuck in a law book, you can often find him rooting for his favorite Chicago sports teams while eating barbeque chicken.

This is me: Former television news reporter turned dental student. I'm the gal behind "Teeth." As I try to enthusiastically work my way through dental school, I'm hoping to, one day, see the light at the end of the tunnel. :-) In the meantime, I'm taking my outgoing, organized, ordinary and, well, somewhat obsessive self to blogland, in an attempt to document this helter-skelter, career-change chapter of our lives. You can often find me thoroughly enjoying life in the Big Apple, while simultaneously missing my family and my dear old Kentucky home.
